5 Day Natural Building Workshops Restoring a Traditional Grecian House
The goal of these workshops is to restore a ruin with time tested natural building techniques. We will be rebuilding the stone walls, creating a new roof structure from native timber and installing a traditional clay tile roof. There will be opportunities to engage with the Design / Build process as we create rooms and select finishes. We will make visits local historic sites and connect with local artisans. In addition we will be making improvements to the land so that it may become a refuge for the healing that will accompany these workshops. This is a great opportunity if you want to gain proficiency with traditional natural building techniques, make time for mindfulness, and build a creative community. You can join us for one workshop or all 3, plus for the free volunteer periods in between. Space is limited to 7 participants per workshop.
In partnership with Levitie and Isidora Refuge we’ll be integrating group meditations, shamanic breathwork journeys, conscious connection experiences, land listening, and yoga into the workshop schedule as well. We’d love to have you join!

A 2WD vehicle can make it to the property, dirt roads are rocky, High Clearance Preferred.

Two daily meals are included for the workshop. These will be group meals provided by our chef. Most meals will include meat with a veggie/vegan option. We do our best to accommodate most dietary needs, and it is always good to plan ahead and bring additional protein supplements and vitamins as we will be working physically.
You will have access to the kitchen. There is a town about a 10 minute walk away with several restaurants.
Food is only included during the Workshop portions from August 18 - 22, September 1 - 5, September 15 - 19 If you are attending the apprentice portion or plaster portion, food is on your own. You will have access to the camp kitchen.
