Owner / Self-Taught Architect

I was told once to follow my curiousity and it lead me here.  Hi!  My name is Nick, Nicholas, and Nico.  I am a multilingual, multi-disciplined: builder, artist, creative. My friends say I’m the original cultured blue collar.  Thanks to my upbringing, I knew about Eames chairs & McIntosh stereos from a young age, alongside the Ford 8N and a well stacked woodpile.  I’ve learned about everything worthwhile since, it makes for good conversation.  Ever since I can remember I have been designing, building and leading creative projects.

With two decades of Design / Build experience in residential and commercial construction, I have proven my ability to collaborate with industry professionals, solve problems and complete projects on time and within budget. Rooted with a formal education in Sustainable Landscape Horticulture, I approach challenges with a holistic focus and mindfully incorporate environmentally regenerative practices.  Natural building projects in: Germany, Madagascar and Mexico; reinforced my creative and communicative skills.  Further my experience with alternative schools and hands-on education, means that I thrive as a guide, teacher and mentor.
